Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels are a form of chemical exfoliation to the skin. Peels are used to treat many skin issues like acne, fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. The chemical peel process is an application of a chemical solution to the skin that exfoliates the upper layers of the skin. It is not painful and although there is some redness to the face after, it is usually gone within 48 hours. 

A light chemical peel or glycolic peel will last 1 to 2 months. About 4 to 6 monthly treatments work well to maintain fine wrinkles, discoloration or sun-damaged skin.  After an initial series of treatment, quick maintenance or “lunchtime” peels can be scheduled as needed.
